This is the rest of the family: Max, Thor, Jack, and Angel.
Max
Max was the greatest dog ever. We got him when he was a puppy in 2000. He liked to bring rocks into the house and eat small shrubs. When I first moved into my new house, I thought I could tie him to a cinder block to keep him from taking off because the fence wasn't finished. Boy was that stupid. He did, however, think it was a game to drag it all over the backyard, so it accomplished the task of not having him run off. Unfortunately Max died the day after his 2nd birthday. I was out of town for work and never did know exactly what happened. I still think about him a lot.
Thor
Thor is the Alpha Dog. We got him in 2002 from the German Shepherd Rescue. He was approximately 1 year old at the time. I'm pretty sure that Thor learned how to tell time. Every day between 4:30 and 5:30 he would come find me, sit down in front of me, and bark one time. This means it is time to eat.
We lost Thor in 2011. He had hip dysplasia and got to the point that he couldn't move his hind legs. He would drag them around and ended up creating sores. His heart was in it, but his body gave out on him. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I had to put him down. He was in pain and I couldn't make him go through that just because we didn't want to lose him. He will always be missed.

Jack
We got Jack in March of 2005. We found him in Albertson's, literally. He was walking around just inside the store as we were leaving. My daughter led him outside. We took him home because we were afraid he might get hit by a car. We were not able to find his owners, so we kept him. Our best guess is that he was around 5-7 years old when we found him.
September 7, 2010 was a bad day. Jack lost his battle with cancer. He had been sick for a while and got to the point where he could barely stand up. Jack, we will miss you.

Angel
This is Angel. We got her in July 2009. She was born 4/6/2009. Bryan and I were killing some time and walked in a pet store. We found her and fell in love with her. She is a red and white Siberian Husky, which is pretty rare. She also has one blue eye and one brown eye, which makes her very rare. At just over a year old she is still 100% puppy. Although she has been to school, she did not learn "don't destroy the house" as one of her commands. She seems to have an affinity for cardboard and paper. She also likes to chew on books about dogs. Hmmm.
This is McCoy. We got him May 11, 2011. Angel needed a playmate and I missed having a German Shepherd around the house. So far he's been pretty destructive around here. I think he may have been abused because of the way he acts sometimes.
